In Her Eyes

In her eyes
I'm what I want to be--
Not a frail creature of dust laden with sins,
But a saint seeking perfection.
In her eyes
I can be what I am--
Weak, worried, scared, selfish, mean, and nasty;
Yet I am good in her eyes--
Because she knows I want to be good,
And because she looks through eyes of love.
So I strive harder,
For I want to be
What she sees
In her eyes.

I Am Free

One by one the chains have fallen,
And I am free.
They have no power over me--
They who would shackle my spirit
And burden my body.
They shall play God no longer,
And only He
Shall pilot me.

This is my first blog. I thought I'd tell about all my books. I am excited because I have a new book out. It is called The Melting Pot and is available at Publish America. Other books of mine are:
